QS Ranking, Bocconi is a European Top Player

IN THE NEW WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS BY SUBJECT THE UNIVERSITY IS CONFIRMED IN THE EUROPEAN TOP 5 IN ALL ITS MAIN SUBJECT AREAS

In the new QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021, dedicated to the best universities in the world in 5 macro areas of study and 51 different subjects, Bocconi confirms its position among the European leaders in one of the most comprehensive rankings - which assesses academic reputation, scientific production and quality of graduates - in all its main areas of expertise.

In fact, Bocconi is now firmly in the top 5 in Europe in the Social Sciences & Management broad subject area (4th) and in the individual subjects Business & Management (3rd), Accounting & Finance (5th) and Economics & Econometrics (5th). At world level Bocconi confirms its 16th place in the Social Sciences & Management macro area.

The ranking developed by QS, the international network dedicated to education and professions, is built on the basis of four parameters: academic reputation based on the opinion of academics (over 100,000 worldwide), the reputation of graduates based on the opinion of over 50,000 recruiters, citations per paper and the H-Index, which quantifies the number and impact of research publications.

"The publication of QS results is now the most eagerly awaited and fundamental appointment for universities," comments Stefano Caselli, Dean for International Affairs. "as it allows them to grasp their positioning in the international market and to make their efforts and results visible in all relevant dimensions. Bocconi confirms and consolidates its role as a successful player on a European and global level, thanks to the excellence of its research, the quality of its students and the success of its placement".
