Three Experts from the University in the Ministry Task Force Against Covid19

THE MINISTRY FOR TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AND DIGITIZATION HAS INVOLVED MARCO BASSINI, CARLO ALBERTO CARNEVALE MAFFE' AND SIMONE PIUNNO TO IDENTIFY DATA DRIVEN TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS TO DEAL WITH THE CORONAVIRUS EMERGENCY

The mission is to support the government and other public decision-makers in evaluating and proposing data driven technological solutions to face the health, social and economic emergency linked to the spread of Covid19. This delicate undertaking is entrusted to a multidisciplinary task force of 74 experts, set up by the Ministry for Technological Innovation and Digitization in agreement with the Ministry of Health.

The task force will also include two professors and an executive from Bocconi: Marco Bassini, Coordinator of the LL.M. in Law of Internet Technology, Carlo Alberto Carnevale Maffè, Associate Professor of practice of strategy and entrepreneurship at SDA Bocconi School of Management, and Simone Piunno, Chief Technology Officer. The task of these experts, who are donating their work, will be to propose data-driven technological solutions for the management of the health emergency.

The idea behind the establishment of this task force is that technological innovation and digitization can make a significant contribution through data collection and analysis. Specifically, the experts will work divided into eight subgroups: Carlo Alberto Carnevale Maffè and Simone Piunno will be part of Group 6, called Technologies for the Government; Marco Bassini of Group 8, Legal profiles of emergency-related data management.
