Bocconi Discusses Climate Change Policy at Cop 25

THE ANNUAL UN CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO CLIMATE CHANGE, NOW MOVED TO MADRID, WILL INCLUDE THE UNIVERSITY'S PARTICIPATION THROUGH ITS GREEN RESEARCH CENTER

Moved in recent weeks from Santiago, Chile, where it was supposed to be held, the UN's annual conference focused on climate change, Cop 25, will take place in Madrid from 2 to 13 December. Once again this year, Bocconi with GREEN,  its center for research on Geography, natural resources, energy, the environment and networks,  is co-organizing on 3 December two of the side events parallel to the conference. The first is "Nature-based solutions & global climate action", in which Edoardo Croci (Bocconi University and GREEN) will present the first results of the European project Horizon 2020 Urban Green Up on the implementation and evaluation of green infrastructures in urban areas, of which Bocconi is a partner. The second, within the calendar promoted by the Italian Ministry of the Environment at the Italian Pavilion, will compare local climate policies in Italy and internationally.

"The Cop 25 conference represents an extraordinary opportunity to present some of the results of the research that Bocconi University promotes through the GREEN center in the field of climate change.  The side events create the perfect context for discussion and comparison with other international players at the forefront of climate research and action, "explains Edoardo Croci.
