Bocconi University and the Financial Times announce the FTxBocconi Talent Challenge

BOCCONI UNIVERSITY IS THE FIRST ORGANISATION TO PARTNER WITH THE FT ON THE TALENT CHALLENGE. PARTICIPANTS IN THE FTXBOCCONI TALENT CHALLENGE IN LONDON WILL INTERACT WITH NOBEL PRIZE WINNERS, TOP MANAGERS, FT JOURNALISTS AND BOCCONI UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS

Bocconi University and the Financial Times are looking for 100 talented students and young professionals to take part in the FTxBocconi Talent Challenge, a global competition to be held at FT headquarters in London from 1-3 February 2020. Bocconi University is the first organisation to partner with the FT on the Talent Challenge.
 
Participants will compete in teams to solve real business challenges in the areas of fashion, fintech, artificial intelligence and digital and social marketing. They will benefit from the support and mentoring of alumni and academics from Bocconi University, including Vittorio Colao, former Vodafone CEO, and Andrew Michael Spence, Nobel Prize for Economics winner and visiting professor at the MBA SDA Bocconi.
 
During the challenge, participants will partake in masterclasses on the impact of emerging digital technologies on business mindsets and strategies, delivered by experts from the FT and Bocconi University. Each team will also have the opportunity to pitch their ideas in front of the senior leadership team of Bocconi University and the FT.
 
Bocconi University Rector Gianmario Verona said: «FTxBocconi will provide an exclusive opportunity for students to network with their peers, international journalists, Bocconi professors and alumni to fully understand how innovation works in the main sectors of a modern economy.»
 
FT CCO and Management Board Member Jon Slade added: «FTxBocconi will take students to the heart of digital disruption, stretch their imagination and give them a unique platform to consider meaningful solutions to complex challenges.»
