BOCCONI'S INHOUSE MAGAZINE HAS DEALT WITH TOPICS RANGING FROM ENTREPRENEURSHIP, GEOPOLITICS AND DATA SCIENCE, TO MIGRATION, EMPLOYMENT, AND THE AGING OF ECONOMIES. IT COVERS THE RESEARCH AND THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE MADE BOCCONI AN ACADEMIC POWERHOUSE KNOWN AROUND THE WORLD. ALL THESE STORIES ARE PART OF THE SPECIAL ENGLISHLANGUAGE ISSUE THAT IS BEING RELEASED TO CELEBRATE THE START OF 2019

ViaSarfatti25 shoots for the stars with a special 172-page issue in English to celebrate the new year. The issue collects the interviews, insights and opinions given by Bocconi researchers and alumni in the year that just ended. It intends to put the spotlight on the research work undertaken by Bocconi’s faculty, as well as the stories of Bocconi alumni who have made a name for themselves and their alma mater in the world.

The menu of the January-February issue is a tasty one. It opens by presenting the disciplines investigated by the new senior faculty positions in the course of 2018, then focuses on the cover story dedicated to the key elements of entrepreneurship. It continues with articles on geopolitics, data science, e-learning, migration flows, the changing skills of CEOs, the aging of developed countries, the future of money after cryptocurrencies, and the outlook for employment in the aftermath of automation and AI.

To top it all, the current issue features several special reports on a wide range of subjects, as well as interviews with top alumni, such as Bocconi’s new managing director Riccardo Taranto, the president and CEO of Saint Laurent and Bocconi Alumna of the Year Francesca Bellettini, the president and CEO of Converse Davide Grasso, the CEO of the UK Competition and Market Authority, Andrea Coscelli, and Vittorio Colao.

Finally, the issue closes with the names and faces of the alums who have chosen to become Chapter Leaders and Topic Leaders of the Bocconi Alumni Community, which unites Bocconi graduates in the major cities of the world.
