Bocconi Locks up Sixth Place in Europe in Financial Times Ranking

THE UNIVERSITY MAINTAINS ITS POSITION IN THE RANKING OF THE BEST BUSINESS SCHOOLS IN EUROPE

The strong showing by Bocconi University and SDA Bocconi in the various Financial Times rankings during 2018 for its Master programs and courses for managers, have enabled the University to consolidate its sixth-place standing among the best European Business Schools. This is what emerges from the ranking published today by the British newspaper.

"These results confirm the important presence of Bocconi in the main international rankings, with the University stably positioning itself in the top 10 at European level, regardless of the different focuses and the different methodologies adopted", says Rector Gianmario Verona. "In a European context of increasingly tight competition in the international education market, Bocconi and the SDA Bocconi School of Management have shown they compare favorably with the best competitors".

"The ranking reiterates that Italian and international companies find in SDA Bocconi an ideal partner capable of competing with the global leaders in the training of talented young people and the management class", adds the Dean of SDA Bocconi, Giuseppe Soda.

The Financial Times ranking is drawn from the positions of the European schools in four of the five rankings that the newspaper produces during the year. These refer to Masters in management, MBAs, Executive MBAs, and management training courses both custom and open.

Not included in the calculation of this ranking, however, is the Master in Finance category, where Bocconi placed in 7th in Europe and 8th in the world.
