Bocconi in VR

A NEW PLATFORM ALLOWS YOU TO EXPLORE THE UNIVERSITY'S CAMPUS IN VIRTUAL REALITY. THE APPS FOR ANDROID AND IOS ARE ALREADY AVAILABLE

Walking through Bocconi can now be done from thousands of kilometers away. In fact, the new Bocconi Campus VR platform, which allows users to move about the university in a 3D virtual reality environment, is on the University website and, in the form of apps, in the Android and iOS stores. This innovation, which will be presented officially during the Open Days of 21 April, represents a further step towards the goal of maximum usability of university services.

With a pair of VR glasses and the app installed, you can navigate inside and outside the various buildings on campus, including residence halls. In the near future, the new buildings being under construction in the ex-Central del Latte area will be added. In addition, through the Bocconi website  (links in Italian and English here), users can navigate through 360-degree images of the same places.

The platform that Bocconi Campus VR utilizes will also soon enable ever-increasing implementation of augmented reality, thus allowing users not only to view, but also to interact more and more with the virtual environments.
