Yevgeni Galanov on the Piano at Bocconi

THURSDAY 19 APRIL AT 9.00 PM IN THE AULA MAGNA OF VIA GOBBI 5, THE YOUNG BELARUSSIAN WILL GIVE A CONCERT, ORGANIZED BY ISU BOCCONI IN COLLABORATION WITH FURCHT PIANOFORTI.

The concert of the young Belarussian Yevgeni Galanov, organized by ISU Bocconi in collaboration with Furchi Pianoforti, will be held on Thursday 19 April at 9.00 pm in the Aula Magna of via Gobbi 5.

The two-part program includes:
Nicola Campogrande, Nudo
Sergej Rachmaninov, Piano Sonata No 2 Op. 36
Maurice Ravel, Gaspard De La Nuit
Sergej Prokofiev, Piano Sonata No 7

Yevgeni Galanov, born in Minsk in 1990, began studying music at the age of six. At the age of twelve he made his orchestral debut in Mozart's K 488 concert. Since then he has toured in Belarus, France, Switzerland, Italy and has played with various orchestras. He also participated in master classes "Young talents of the 21st century" (Moscow 2009) and "Youth academy" at the 4th Yuri Bashmet International Festival (Minsk 2009). His training began at the Belarusian State Academy of Music in Minsk (teachers: Irina Semenyako and Ludmilla Shelomentseva) to continue in 2014 at the Monteverdi Conservatory of Bolzano (teacher: Davide Cabassi). He has won numerous awards in international piano competitions.
