The Deep Lightness of Alessandra Ferri

THE DANCER WILL TELL STUDENTS ABOUT HERSELF, ABOUT HER CAREER AND ABOUT THE WINNING COMBINATION OF DISCIPLINE, HARD WORK AND LIGHTNESS. THE DATE IS ON 19 APRIL WITH THIS NEW EVENT OF THE BROADEN YOUR FRAME CYCLE

Ballerina Alessandra Ferri, will be guest at Bocconi on 19 April for the Broaden Your Frame cycle, an initiative organized by the Graduate School and reserved for Bocconi students. "The world of dancing and the world of economics may seem distant, but they are not," says Alex Turrini, director of the Master of Science in Economics and Management in Arts, Culture, Media and Entertainment, who will interview the dancer along with professor Marco Pelle during the event to be held in the Notari aula at 4:30pm. "Alessandra's career is a mix of technique, rigor and commitment, but also lightness, creativity and passion. A mix of characteristics suitable for every Bocconi student with a future bright career".

The title of the meeting is The Depth of Lightness, “But lightness is not something superficial, but a particular life attitude," continues Turrini. Alessandra Ferri, one of the 14 dancers who has been awarded with the title of Prima Ballerina Assoluta, will tell students about herself, about her career, which began very young with her training at La Scala Ballet School, and about her unbreakable ties with dance.

As with every Broaden Your Frame event, at the end students can send their feedback through a ‘triple-tweet,’ a short essay with a maximum of 840 characters. Anyone who attends 80% of the seminars and sends feedback after each event will earn a certificate of participation.

Students who received the communication by mail should register through yoU@B, while faculty, staff and Master students should register through the web form they received with the postmaster message.
