The CEMS Benchmarking Meeting at Bocconi

SCHOOLS AND CORPORATE PARTNERS OF THE ALLIANCE MEET IN MILAN TO DISCUSS DIGITAL POWER AND HUMAN POWER

CEMS (The Global Alliance in Management Education) is an alliance of 30 business schools and 73 corporate partners which, since 1988, aim to give a truly European education to the students of its Master’s in International Management (MIM).

Today Bocconi University (one of the four founding schools) is hosting the CEMS Benchmarking Meeting for the first time.  The event has attracted some 60 people from academia and the corporate world to debate topics of common interest, with speeches by Bocconi faculty and round tables with experts from companies.

Under the umbrella title Digital or Human Power? the meeting will present speeches on talent education, big data, the use of smartphones in work and private lives, diversity management and digital talent scouting. Former football player and coach Leonardo will speak about managing talent on the soccer field.

“Our intent”, says Emanuela Prandelli, CEMS MIM Academic Director for Bocconi, “is to cover the hottest issues related to people and technologies”.
