Nine Candles for Radio Bocconi

DATE WITH THE RB DAY, THE BIRTHDAY OF THE UNIVERSITY RADIO, ON APRIL 12 FROM 9AM. A WHOLE DAY WITH MANY GUESTS FROM THE MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT WORLD AND NONSTOP LIVE STREAMING FROM THE BBAR

Like every year, Radio Bocconi, one of the university's students media, celebrates its birthday in spring, with a whole day of live music, interviews and entertainment. The date with the RBDay is on April 12, from 9am to 6pm, live from the Bbar of via Roentgen. The party will then move to the Velodromo building at 9pm for the DJ set of Polyrs, a duo of young producers. "Our intention is to tear down the wall that usually exists between speakers and listeners," says Elia Faggiani, a student in his second year of Economics and Management for Arts, Culture and Communication (CLEACC). "It will be an opportunity to give a taste of Radio life and also a way to feel even more part of our university”.

First guest of the day (10am), will be Osvaldo Supino, an Italian singer. Then, always sitting at the BBar tables, speakers and students will have the chance to meet: Chiara (10:30am), winner of the sixth edition of X-Factor, Marianne Mirage (11am), singer who participated in the last edition of the Sanremo Festival, Rodrigo D’Erasmo (11.30am), the violinist of Afterhours, an Italian rock band, Paola Gallo (12am), music journalist for Radio Italia, Revo Fever (12,30), a Milanese band, Francesca Pels (2pm), blogger and street poet, Vittorio from the Osc2x (2.30pm), Ex-Otago (3pm) and Nobody Cried for Dinosaurs (4pm), three Italian indie bands. "There will be other guests too, but it’s a surprise," says Filippo Colombo, a CLEACC student, "I will have the pleasure of interviewing Paola Gallo, who I really appreciate and respect as a journalist: it will be a fun moment because we will test her music knowledge with a quiz,” he continues. “I’ll also ask some questions to Francesca Pels, with whom we’ll talk about poetry slams, that is poetry competitions usually performed to open mics which have lately taken hold in Milan. And she will also read some of her poems."

"The RB Day is not just an anniversary, it is a way to thank all the students who listen to and support us, and also a moment of transition, as it is the event that precedes the change of direction of Radio Bocconi," concludes Elia. "A big party to end another amazing journey!”.
