Innovation: Agility, Speed and Flexibility Are Key

“Every industry will be rethought as technology is changing consumer behavior and every business will become a digital business,” states Fabio Vaccarono, Vice President at Google and CEO of Google Italia and alumnus of the MBA at SDA Bocconi, in a conversation in the Executive Chats series with Rector Gianmario Verona.

“At Google we rethink ourselves constantly. Agility is the new mantra as companies have to keep up to speed with how customers are experimenting and using technology,” he says.

With regards to Italy, “it suffers as one of the slowest digital regions. We are catching up but it is vital to invest at least one third of the Next Generation Fund in digital transformation.”

To end, he highlights his thoughts on what companies need. “We are entering an era of flexibility and agility and we need people who are able to learn continuously during their professional life.”
