AI Festival in Milan on 14 and 15 February

BOCCONI AND ITS ENTIRE ECOSYSTEM IS PARTNER OF THE AI FESTIVAL

On 14-15 February, the AI Festival will be held at Allianz MiCo in Milan. It is an event where professionals, companies, start-ups and stakeholders will come together to explore the present and future of artificial intelligence.

Bocconi and its entire ecosystem – SDA Bocconi School of Management, Bocconi for Innovation (B4i) and Egea – is partner of the AI Festival.

Artificial intelligence is a reality at Bocconi that can count both on the expertise of the Department of Computing Sciences and the many researchers who use AI and machine learning techniques in all areas of the social sciences.  Today at Bocconi, – in addition to the more classic courses in economics, law and political sciences – it is therefore possible to graduate in Mathematical and Computing Sciences for Artificial Intelligence and go on to specialize in the two-year Master of Science Artificial Intelligence program.

During the two-day AI Festival, Bocconi will not only be present as an exhibitor, but it also has organized a full program of activities with faculty participation. You can view the full program via the following link.

Among other activities, a “Speed Date” will be included during which seven faculty members from the Computing Sciences department will be on hand to address questions, curiosities and updates on artificial intelligence in different application areas, including: Carlo Baldassi on “Reinforcement Learning: Strategy and Planning”; Carlo Lucibello on “Generative AI”; Enrico Maria Malatesta on “AI and Computer Vision”; Emmanuela Orsini on “Privacy in AI”; Luca Saglietti on “ML Fairness and Bias"; Laura Sanità on "Explainable AI"; and Andrea Tangherloni on “AI and Biomedicine”.
