With AMBA Reaccreditation, SDA Bocconi Retains Title of Elite MBA Provider

SDA Bocconi School of Management has officially received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s leading authorities on post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.

Accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA) represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.

SDA Bocconi School of Management is a world-renowned business school in Milan, Italy. The School was ranked as the third best Business School in Europe by the Financial Times in 2019.

Members of AMBA’s visiting accreditation panel, representing senior management at AMBA-accredited Business Schools globally, commended SDA Bocconi School of Management for its academic faculty. The panel noted that the School encourages its faculty to have a high level of ownership in their work, facilitating them to be highly engaged.

The panel also believed that the newly built campus was an investment that would attract international students and would allow the School to maintain its strong reputation and profile.

The careers department at SDA Bocconi School of Management was commended as being well structured and for supporting employment opportunities for graduates.

“We are proud of AMBA re-accreditation, which stems from a constant attention to quality that takes shape in all our activities. Quality is a discipline that requires perseverance, dedication and professionalism, as well as commitment to cultural innovation and open-mindedness, embodied this year by the opening of the new Campus – a cutting-edge and environment-friendly architecture. And by our new claim "Designed for your world ", which emphasizes the School’s ability to design, create and customize its offer, and refers to the international mission and the transformative experience of all its programs” commented Giuseppe Soda, Dean of SDA Bocconi School of Management

The accreditation is international in scope and reach, and AMBA works under the belief that accredited programmes should be of the highest standard and reflect changing trends and innovation in post-graduate management education. Its accreditation process reflects this commitment to fostering innovation, and demanding Business Schools to perform at the highest level continually.

Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of AMBA & BGA, said: ‘SDA Bocconi School of Management is one of the top providers of management education in the world. I am delighted that AMBA will continue to work closely with the School. AMBA only accredits the top 2% of Business Schools globally and it is fitting that SDA Bocconi School of Management continues to part of this select group’.
