Learn to Deal with Ambiguity to Prosper in a Digital Environment

IN THE LATEST EXECUTIVE CHAT, RECTOR GIANMARIO VERONA MEETS JOHN HERLIHY, VICE PRESIDENT EMEA AND LATAM OF LINKEDIN

The ability to deal with ambiguity is the most important talent in today’s ever-changing world, according to John Herlihy, Vice President EMEA and LATAM, LinkedIn, the guest of the 11th instalment of Executive Chats, the video series in which Bocconi Rector Gianmario Verona meets top executives in the frontline in facing the challenges of the digital century. «It means seeing the big picture, while having things done quickly», he says.

For similar reasons, collaboration innovation and agility are the characteristics of leadership in the digital environment, since «together, they create trust in a company».

«By 2020 75% of employees in technological companies will be Millennials» Mr. Herlihy says, «and they need a sense of purpose. Ours is to create economic opportunities for all members of the worldwide workforce».
