Fourteen Bocconians among the 100 Future Makers Chosen by BGC

THE FUTURE MAKERS, AN INITIATIVE THAT SAW 100 TALENTS TAKING PART IN FOUR DAYS OF TRAINING, HAS JUST ENDED. AN OPPORTUNITY TO UNDERSTAND HOW TO CREATE VALUE IN OUR TOMORROW, SAYS CECILIA, A BOCCONI GRADUATE

Fourteen out of the 100 talents chosen by The Boston Consulting Group to attend the second edition of "The Future Makers" are Bocconians. One hundred young students and graduates coming from 30 Italian universities and selected from 12,000, attended a four-day intensive training course featuring speeches from important personalities and various mentoring activities. The topics at the center of the initiative were digital development, the evolutions of the great industrial and financial chapters, social impact, diversity and sustainable development; all themes that "are shaping the world and our country in a decisive way" , explains Giuseppe Falco, Managing Director of The Boston Consulting Group Italy, Greece and Turkey.

"All the speakers were able to convey their great enthusiasm, they made us understand that the future is in our hands, and that we have to believe in our country as much as they do and that we have to do our best to make it better", says Elisabetta Biffi, a student of Management. The students and the graduates in fact met some important Italian personalities, including the Special Commissioner for the implementation of the Digital Agenda and Bocconi Alumnus Diego Piacentini, the CEO and General Manager of Enel Group Francesco Starace, the Director of the Egyptian Museum of Turin Christian Greco and the Paralympic Athlete Bebe Vio.

"I found the activities very useful, especially those aimed at improving our soft skills; it was also interesting to confront ourselves with other students and graduates coming from different universities and from different degree programs, with whom we discussed our points of view," comments Alberto Maria Fasulo, enrolled in the Master of Science in Finance. "It was a unique opportunity to understand which are the next great economic challenges for our country," adds Cecilia Concetti, who’s recently graduated from the World Bachelor in Business, "as well as an opportunity to define the ideals and skills that will help us to contribute to create value in our tomorrow".

The other Bocconians who took part in "The Future Makers": Mihailo Durdevic, Francesca Grotti and Veronica Piacentini, enrolled in the Master of Science in International Management; Niccolò Zamboni, enrolled in the Master of Science in Management; Matteo Zucchi, Filippo Vesco and Wang Xiaolu, enrolled in the Master of Science in Finance; Maria Letizia Caselli, enrolled in the Master of Science in International Management / CEMS; Valentina Coria, enrolled in the Master of Science in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology; Virginia Fascina, enrolled in the Master of Science in Marketing Management; Giulia Savino, enrolled in the World Bachelor in Business.
