Choirs in Concert

A CONCERT WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY 6 MAY, STARTING AT 9PM, IN THE SAN FERDINANDO CHURCH. MARTINA ZAMBELLI WILL CONDUCT CORAL IBERICOAMERICANA TANTANAKUY, CHORUS INSUBRIAE, THE BLOOPERS AND CORO BOCCONI

Four choirs will perform on Friday 6 May, starting at 9pm, in the San Ferdinando Church (Piazza Sraffa). The concert will be conducted by maestro Martina Zambelli. The event, organized by the Student Affairs Division– ISU Bocconi, in collaboration with Furcht Pianoforti, will have a different program for each choir.

Coral Ibericoamericana Tantanakuy: Amarraditos (Peru, creole waltz, L. Duran - Perez, arr. E. Correa); El Choclo (Argentina, tango, A. G. Villoldo, arr. A. G. Naranjo); La Bikina (Mexico, song, R. Fuentes, arr. E. Romero); El Gavilan (Venezuela, Joropo, arr. J. Carrillo); La Piragua (Colombia, cumbia, J. Barros, arr. F. Camacho).

Chorus Insubriae: Caliche (Chile, cueca nortina, F. Albarracín, arr. W. Aránguiz); Pastime with Good Company (UK, motet, Henry VIII); Ninna Nanna (Italy, polyphonic song, B. Bettinelli); That Lonesome Road (US, song, J. Taylor & D. Grolnick, arr. S. Carrington); Tourdion (France, motet, P. Attaignant).

The Bloopers: You've Got the Love (UK, gospel, F. Welch, arr. M. Zambelli); Bridge Over Troubled Water (US, song, P. Simon & A. Garfunkel, arr. M. Zambelli); Home (US, song, J. Castrinos & A.
