Students Wanted for Bookcity 2014

BOCCONI AND EGEA WILL BE INVOLVED IN THE EVENT SCHEDULED FOR NEXT NOVEMBER. FIFTEEN STUDENTS WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE ORGANIZATIONAL STAGES OF MEETINGS HOSTED BY THE UNIVERSITY, SEEKING TO INVOLVE LOCAL ASSOCIATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS

It will be an enriching professional experience as well as an opportunity to actively participate in one of the most important events that will enliven Milan’s autumn season. It's a big chance for 15 Bocconi students, 5 functioning as coordinators and 10 in support, who will collaborate with EGEA and the University at Bookcity Milan, scheduled for 13-16 November.
 
An event that for three days will feature books, readings and readers, promoted by the City of Milan since 2012 as part of the series of events organized to renew the image and the cultural offer of the city with a view to Expo 2015.  This year will also see a series of meetings, debates, readings, performances and workshops on new ways of reading in various places around Milan, with the Castello Sforzesco as its epicenter.
 
The selected students will have various tasks, from the Bocconi community’s involvement in the various specific initiatives and the overall project to the identification, for each meeting, of associations and organizations in the city area that may beinterested. They will also compile a database for future contacts to the benefit of students and associations that organize cultural activities.

The group will be set ​​up by the end of July and will be at work from 1 September to 16 November - the first operational meeting is already scheduled for September 3 at 9:30. Each of the 5 group coordinators will receive a € 300 voucher to spend at the EGEA bookstore, while the 10 support staffers will receive vouchers for € 100.
 
EGEA and Bocconi are participating in Bookcity with a series of five meetings, titled Modus Vivendi, each of which will rotate around a "way of life": Global Living; Lving and Sharing; Living Behind the Scenes; Slow Living; and Digital Living.
