A podcast to grow your talent

A new series by Financial Times and Bocconi for the younger generation with analysis and advice on how to get ahead in the most coveted sectors

Finance, fashion, entertainment, artificial intelligence, green economy - all sectors and fields characterized by major transformations in the sign of digital and sustainable and therefore increasingly attractive to young talents looking for challenging career paths and careers capable of leaving a strong impact on society. And it is precisely to answer their questions that the 'Talent Show' podcast series was devised by Bocconi and Financial Times, featuring Bocconi professors and alumni analyzing the most important trends of the moment to help young people understand the changes and challenges to be met by giving practical career advice.

The series opens with Davide Serra, founder and CEO of Algebris and Bocconi alumnus, on the Investment Banking industry today, current issues such as sustainability, and some advice for young talents interested in a career in Finance. The next upcoming podcasts will feature Davide Grasso, CEO of Maserati and Bocconi alumnus, discussing customer engagement and how to lead a large company today; Aleksandra Torbica, Bocconi professor, explaining today's most important challenges in the world of healthcare; Nico Valenti Gatti, Operating Director of the Bocconi For Innovation (B4i) accelerator, on the startup scene in Europe and advice for budding startuppers; and Simone Autera, Bocconi professor, on how to succeed in the entertainment industry.

The series will then continue with discussions on the world of fashion and luxury, opportunities in the space economy, working in a multinational corporation, current events in blockchain, and with guests such as Bocconi alumnas Federica Tremolada, Managing Director Southern & Eastern Europe at Spotify, and Veronica Diquattro, Executive Vice President Southern Europe at DAZN.

The initiative is part of the collaboration between FT and Bocconi that has seen three editions of the FTxBocconi Talent Challenge, with young talents from around the world competing with innovative ideas, and the 'Future World' video masterclass series, with Bocconi faculty discussing the megatrends impacting our society today.
