Three Days in Bocconi to Discuss the Challenges for the G20

On October 4/6 the Think20 (T20) Summit, coordinated by ISPI and co chaired by Bocconi, with among the speakers Antonio Guterres, Kristalina Georgieva, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and Italian Ministers Vittorio Colao, Daniele Franco, Roberto Cingolani and Luigi Di Maio

Health and vaccines, climate and sustainable growth, international trade, digitalization, poverty and inequalities – these are the principal themes and challenges to be faced by the G20, whose next summit will be held in Rome at the end of October, and which will be at the centre of discussion during Think20 (T20) Summit. The event, held in Bocconi in hybrid format, sees ISPI as National Coordinator and Chair and Bocconi as Co-Chair.

Think Tank20 (T20) is a G20 engagement group that brings together leading think tanks and research centers engaged in research on issues on the G20 agenda and related to global governance.

Among the speakers, Antonio Guterres, Secretary-General, UN; Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director, IMF; Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General, WHO; Michelle Bachelet, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights; Esther Duflo, 2019 Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences; António Vitorino, Director General, IOM; Lawrence H. Summers, President Emeritus, Harvard University; Qu Dongyu, Director General, FAO; Mario Monti, President Bocconi University; and Italian ministers Vittorio Colao, Daniele Franco, Roberto Cingolani and Luigi Di Maio.
