Vittorio Colao at the Helm of Italy's Phase 2

IN ADDITION TO THE ALUMNUS OF THE YEAR 2003, OTHER BOCCONIANS GIOVANNI GORNO TEMPINI, ENRICO MORETTI AND STEFANO SIMONTACCHI, AS WELL AS ROBERTO CINGOLANI, VISITING PROFESSOR, APPOINTED IN THE COMMITTEE OF EXPERTS ON ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL ISSUES THAT WILL SUPPORT THE ITALIAN GOVERNMENT TO OVERCOME THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS

Four alumni and a visiting professor are among the 17 experts that the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte has appointed in the task force that will assist the Government in the delicate phase 2, the one that after the health emergency will have to bring Italy out of the economic and social crisis following the lockdown.
 
Vittorio Colao, Alumnus of the Year 2003, member of the Bocconi Executive Committee, Special advisor at General Atlantic, Director at Unilever and Verizon, has been entrusted with the leadership of the Committee of experts on economic and social issues.  Together with Colao, manager for years at the head of the Vodafone group, alumni Giovanni Gorno Tempini, president of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Enrico Moretti, professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley, Stefano Simontacchi, attorney and president Fondazione Buzzi, have joined the task force. Among the 17 members of the task force is also Roberto Cingolani, Head of Innovation at Leonardo and a visiting professor at Bocconi.
