The Bocconi Film Festival Starts with an OscarWinning Movie

Green Book by P. Farrelly opens, on Semptember 24, the new season of the university's film festival. The program sees the films shown in their original language. There will also be a movie in Spanish and a Hitchcock classic

The Oscar-winning story of a friendship between an Italian-American bouncer and an African-American pianist in 1960s America, opens on September 24 (Aula magna Gobbi, 8.15pm) the new season of the Bocconi Film Festival, the initiative organized by the Language Center which sees movies shown in their original version to allow the Bocconi community to improve their knowledge of the English language.

A Spanish-language screening, Campeones by J. Fesser, is also scheduled. Among the great titles, such as the musical Mamma Mia!, the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and two films by Adam McKay, Vice and The Big Short, there will also be a great classic by Hitchcock, Dial M for Murder.

Each film is introduced by a language teacher and accompanied by a summary language card, which includes a monolingual glossary, specially prepared for each film.
