One to One Date with Web and Digital Recruiters

, by Benedetta Ciotto
An occasion to meet over 40 companies of the sector on April 18. The last Recruiting Date of the academic year, initiative dedicated to Master of Science students and recent graduates

The last appointment for this academic year with the Recruiting Dates, a format to allow students to meet employers during a speed-date-style event, will be on April 18. This time there will be more than 40 companies of the web and digital sectors, ready to meet MSc students or recent graduates (of the last three years) from 10am to 3pm in the foyer of the Roentgen building. This is the kind of initiative during which not only do students come into contact with companies and give their resumes in an informal atmosphere but is also an occasion for companies to tell something about their values and to present all their internship and job opportunities.

"It was on this occasion that I came in contact for the first time with Yoox, the multi-brand fasion and design virtual store, with whom I work today as Junior Retail Planner," says Federica Benelli, a student in her second year of Management who has thus managed to combine her passion for digital with that for fashion. "I started in June 2017 with an internship and I am now hired. Among other things, I deal with performance analysis and the monitoring of the websites managed by the company, with ad hoc analysis required by the various brands, with estimates of amounts sales".

"The recruiting date is an important opportunity for students not only because there is the possibility of giving their CVs directly to companies, but also because it's a one-on-one meeting with recruiters belonging to a specific sector," adds Federica. Every previous event was in fact dedicated to a particular industry: financial services and fintech; arts, media and entertainment; retail; fashion, luxury and design; government, public services and international organizations.
