The Best Movies in Original Version Right Here on Campus

, by Benedetta Ciotto
Dunkirk, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Sully, La La Land, Blade Runner. These are the titles of the Bocconi Film Festival, the initiative to improve you knowledge of English. Plus a French movie. Starting from February 26

The Bocconi Film Festival catapults us directly into the drama of the Second World War, starting on Monday February 26 with the screening of Dunkirk, the latest movie by director and producer Christopher Nolan, in the aula magna of via Gobbi at 8:15pm. All the films will, as always, be in their original version, in order to offer the Bocconi community an alternative way of enriching their English language skills.

And not only English, because the initiative organized by the Language Center has decided to maintain the novelty introduced in the last edition, that is the introduction of a French film, which in this case will be Le Prénom (What's in a Name?), scheduled for February 28, always in the aula magna Gobbi at 8,15pm.

The film festival will then continue in April with four other English screenings: Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Sully and La La Land and a 1982 classic, Blade Runner.
Each film is introduced by a language teacher and accompanied by a summary language card, which includes a monolingual glossary, specially prepared for each film.

Here's the program.
