The winner of the photographic contest launched in occasion of Bocconi Art Gallery is Andrea Giglio, a student who succeeded in communicating his optimism with a picture of an art installation by Lucio Fontana

The second edition of the #BagMI photo contest has its winners. The task of the photographers who participated was to provide their pictorial take on the theme of art in the city of Milan. The winner was a student of the Economic and Social Sciences Bachelor, Andrea Giglio, with a shot taken of the art installation by Lucio Fontana displayed at the Hangar Bicocca. "I named my picture 'Trend' because the line drawn by the light, which gives a meaning to the surrounding empty space, represents for me a growing trend in the economy and in society," explains the student, passionate about photography since early childhood. "I wanted to communicate optimism, and the pink background is not a coincidence. In addition, to express an extremely optimistic view of reality you can say 'see something through rose-tinted glasses".

Second place went to Federica Belli, student in her first year of International Economics and Management, with "Souvenirs", a photo taken at the Duomo of Milan from one of the windows of the Museo del Novecento. "Almost only tourists stop to admire the Duomo in its majesty, the Milanese are more accustomed to its presence. My idea was to capture the Duomo from an original point of view, so that even those who see it every day can appreciate again its timeless beauty".

Niccolò Maria Pardelli, a student enrolled in the CEMS MIM program, with his photo "University in a Mirror", came in third place. "I took a picture of the 'Augmented surface' installation by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, exhibited at the Università Statale of Milan during the Fuori Salone event," explains Niccolò, who inherited his passion for photography from his father. "In this shot I wanted to communicate the artistic charm of symmetry."
