, by Benedetta Ciotto
Open until September 15 the tender of Fondazione Bracco to promote sustainable entrepreneurship which will award 3 startups with a grant and a year of incubation at Speed MI Up

The Circular economy is a system allowing the reduction of waste and pollution by turning goods that are at the end of their life into resources for others, so that they can be reintroduced into the production cycle. This is the central theme of the first edition of the tender, open until September 15, launched by Fondazione Bracco, in collaboration with Positive Economy Forum San Patrignano, Speed MI Up and Oltre Venture investment fund. "Participation is open to startups and companies founded within the last 20 months, engaged in the field of circular economy", says Fausto Pasotti, director of Speed MI Up, the incubator born in collaboration between Bocconi University, the Chamber of Commerce and the city of Milan. "The prizes for the three winning companies or startups are a funding grant of 5,000 euros each and a year of incubation at Speed MI Up, with the aim of helping entrepreneurs to build and strengthen their business ideas".

This initiative aims at promoting sustainable growth through innovative business projects, at encouraging youth entrepreneurship and at spreading the values of a positive economy. "We decided to address this tender to startups and companies in the field of circular economy because we believe that this model represents the future", explains Gaela Bernini, head of the Scientific and Social project of Fondazione Bracco, "a model in which waste can turn into a resource and in which the economy is able to re-generate itself".
