The Audio Revolution

"In recent years not just the world of music has been revolutionized but the entire world of audio. And now we are entering the era of podcasts," Federica Tremolada, Managing Director Southern & Eastern Europe at Spotify and Bocconi alumna, tells in a conversation in the Executive Chats series with Rector Gianmario Verona.

"Audio is taking centre stage in users' life. And one of the main trends will be the continuous rise of podcasts. We have never listened to so many podcasts as in 2020 and the number of hours we spent listening doubled," she says. "The other main trend is the possibility to listen to our favorite content any time, anywhere and on any device."

Regards the gender gap in the world of entrepreneurship, "The situation is improving. It's our responsibility as managers to grow the next generation of female managers. It must be a top priority in our agenda."
