What It Means to Manage Italian Social Security

, by Andrea Celauro
A dinner with Tito Boeri

The National Institute for Social Security (INPS in Italian) was born more than a century ago and is one of the largest and most complex social security providers in Europe. Its current President, Tito Boeri, is also Professor of Labor Economics at Bocconi. He will talk about managing complexity and change at social security agency during the 31st Dinner Speech, the cycle of events organized by the Bocconi Alumni Association (BAA). These gatherings feature distinguished alums who discuss their experience in business and government while sharing a good meal.

Boeri will tell Bocconi alumni of his brief at INPS, which he has been directing since February 2015. In addition to his academic position at Bocconi, Boeri was Senior Economist at OECD for ten years and was subsequently consultant for the IMF, World Bank, ILO, and European Commission.

Registration for the event must be made by 23 September, 10:30am on the BAA website.
