Breakfast on TV with Mediaset

, by Andrea Celauro
Federico di Chio, director of marketing and business strategies, is the protagonist at the Energizer breakfast of 5 July

Will internet tv Netflix-style be the winner (on-demand, personalized and available on any device), or will we see the triumph of the television market and the expersts in making television the old way? That is the subject under discussion on July 5, at 7:45 at BAA headquarters (Piazza Sraffa 15, Milano) for the sixth Energizer breakfast organized by BAA's Topic on Marketing.

Host of the sprint breakfast will be Federico di Chio, Mediaset's director of marketing and strategies. The meeting, open to all Bocconi alumni and which will also be streamed (you need to register on the site BAA), will compare the two visions that presently collide: that of the digital revolution or the one supported by essayist Martin Wolff, according to which the television market itself and the realization of the offer count more than the mode of use.

Federico di Chio entered RTI, the Fininvest television publisher, in 1989, and became managing director in 1994. In 1998 he was CEO of Medusa Film, and in 2002 came back to Mediaset to direct the transition to digital terrestrial. In 2011 he was deputydirector general for content and marketing director in 2014 with responsibility for free and pay TV, cinema, digital and radio.
