THE MASTER IN INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT GAINS ONE POSITION TO REACH 9TH PLACE WORLDWIDE IN THE FINANCIAL TIMES 2020 RANKING OF THE BEST PROGRAMS IN THE WORLD

A program of international scope, through opportunities, mobility, classroom and faculty, and which prospects career and salary progress, with all students in employment three months after graduation. These are the factors that push Bocconi University’s MSc in International Management to gain one position and rise to 9th place in the world in the 2020 Masters in Management ranking published today by the Financial Times.

The program evaluated by the London newspaper is the Master of Science in International Management, in English. The course aims to prepare future managers and entrepreneurs to make a major contribution to the performance of organizations and companies around the world, while also applying the principles of social responsibility and sustainability to business practice. There are several criteria that determine the ranking including the placement of graduates, the international experience of students during the two-year course and the improvement in terms of salary and career for graduates.

This result continues the series of excellent positions obtained by Bocconi in the most important international rankings. In the QS rankings published last week, the MSc in Management ranked 9th in the world and the MSc in Finance 10th. While the SDA Bocconi MBA was ranked 10th in Europe and the best in the world in terms of ROI (return on investment) of the program. In June, the MSc in Finance reached 7th place in the FT ranking of the best programs in the world.

"The Master in International Management further strengthens its position in the most prestigious ranking at international level, confirming its attractiveness for the best talents and its ability to connect with the job market," comments the Dean for International Affairs, Stefano Caselli, who follows the rankings for the University. "The success of this program is the result of the excellent and continuous work of our Graduate School, directed by Antonella Caru', which leads to an effective combination of quality content, academic profile of the faculty and continuous interaction with companies, financial institutions and consulting firms".

Bocconi is also present in the ranking with the CEMS program, of which it is a founding partner, which ranks 13th.
