SDA Bocconi in Forbes' International Top 5

, by Tomaso Eridani
The school rises to 4th place in the ranking of the best international MBA programs, ranking based on the return on investment

A personal effort and investment that pays off. In the Forbes ranking, based on the return on investment of programs, the full-time MBA of SDA Bocconi School of Management gains in fact one position and places as the 4th best 1-year MBA program in the world (among non-American business schools). SDA Bocconi is also confirmed as the only Italian business school present in all the most important international rankings.

The biennial ranking is based on the sole criteria of return on investment that graduates have obtained in the five years after their MBA (ie. the improvement in salary that alumni realize minus the cost of the program and the salary lost during studies). The ranking is drawn up on the basis of a survey of 2014 graduates from over 100 top business schools all over the world.

"The result obtained in the Forbes ranking is particularly significant if we consider how important the return on investment is for our potential applicants, i.e. people who give up their work to aspire to a different and better career, without having the guarantee of obtaining it," comments Francesco Daveri, director of the full-time MBA. "Where there is risk, there must be return, and it is important that our MBA positions itself well from this point of view."
