Open Doors for the New MBAs

OPENING WEEK KICKOFF FOR THE NEW 2020 CLASS TO LEARN ABOUT THE PROGRAM, THE SCHOOL AND SERVICES. ALSO TEAM BUILDING AND MEETINGS WITH ALLEN BLUE, CO FOUNDER OF LINKEDIN, AND PATRIZIA GRIECO, PRESIDENT OF ENEL

An intense debut for the 93 students, with 35 nationalities, of the 45th edition of the full-time MBA program of SDA Bocconi. The Opening Week is designed to welcome them and introduce them to the school, the faculty, classmates and the curriculum, rounded off with team building activities and meetings with high-profile managers.

Starting yesterday with the opening ceremony, the introduction to the MBA program and a tour of the campus, the Opening Week continues with a series of meetings to learn more about the Career Service activities that will be offered during the year, including a first meeting for the students with their career development advisor. The program also includes the presentation of the student clubs and team building activities to get to know classmates, with a cooking workshop and a treasure hunt on the streets of Milan. To enrich the week also two meetings with the valuable opportunity to hear from and debate with Allen Blue, Co-Founder of LinkedIn, and Patrizia Grieco, President of ENEL.

"Before starting lessons it is useful to help the students, coming from 35 different countries, to familiarize themselves and bond together. This is the aim of this Opening Week, where information about the program and services and the first leadership seminars alternate with fun socialization initiatives," explains Francesco Daveri, director of the MBA.
