Sandro Castaldo SC new President elect of IFSAM

THE MARKETING PROFESSOR WILL HEAD THE IMPORTANT FEDERATION FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS

Sandro Castaldo, professor in the Department of Marketing at Bocconi, has been named President elect of the International Federation of Scholarly Associations of Management (IFSAM). "IFSAM, as it defines itself on its institutional website, is a sort of ‘United Nations’ of the academies of management," says Castaldo, "a federation whose members are the scientific associations of management professors, such as, for Italy, the Società italiana di management. The main activity consists in comparing and outlining the guidelines on topics such as education, research and third mission. In this regard", Castaldo continues, "we interact with the main networks that carry out rankings to propose the criteria that we believe should be used to evaluate education".

Castaldo took up office on January 5 and his term is two years.
