Bloomberg Businessweek, SDA Bocconi MBA Is First for Compensation

IN BLOOMBERG BUSINESSWEEK'S EUROPEAN BSCHOOLS RANKING 2021 SDA BOCCONI'S MBA CLIMBS TO 3RD PLACE IN EUROPE, 1ST IN THE COMPENSATION INDEX

Another international success for SDA Bocconi and its Full-Time MBA which, with a score of 92.2 out of 100, takes 3rd place in the overall European ranking, beating other important competitors. This was confirmed by Bloomberg Businessweek in its Best B-Schools 2021-2022, which gave our MBA over 25 points more than in 2019-2020, taking it up two places. Particularly relevant is the evaluation in the “Compensation” Index, the indicator with the greatest weight that combines remuneration immediately after graduation with that of alumni years later, as well as the percentage of employees 3 months after the end of the MBA: here our FT-MBA is first in Europe with 100/100, a leap of four places compared to the last edition of the ranking.

Bloomberg’s rankings are divided by countries (there is no global ranking) and are based on four criteria: Compensation, Learning, Networking and Entrepreneurship (from this edition, Diversity has been added, but only for B-Schools in the US). The best judges of MBA programs are current students and recent graduates (over 19,000 were interviewed for this edition), as well as the companies that hire them.

Bloomberg Businessweek also reports some representative comments on the qualities and atmosphere of the different schools. Our MBA is said to be a ‘participant-friendly’ program because “The small class size, a tight-knit community that includes the faculty and administration, and cohesiveness within a radically geographically diverse student population”. But also because “It is a highly international fast-paced program, which exposes you to many different cultures and pushes you to realise you have no limits”.
