THE UNIVERSITY GAINS ONE POSITION IN THE 2021 RANKING OF THE BEST MASTERS IN FINANCE COURSES DRAWN UP BY FINANCIAL TIMES

Confirmation of a position in the world's top 10 for Bocconi's Master of Finance which, by gaining one position, places 6th in the Global Masters in Finance 2021 ranking, published today by the Financial Times. A recognition driven, among other criteria, by the fact that graduates all have a job three months after graduation and three years after graduation have seen their salary increase by an average of more than 2/3. Bocconi is the only Italian university featured.

Recognition in the FT ranking, based on 19 criteria, including data provided by the schools and alumni evaluations, is for the Master of Science in Finance, directed by Cesare Conti of the Department of Finance. Among the evaluation criteria, the placement of graduates and the subsequent improvement in salary and career, the international experience of students during the two-year period and the diversity of the program, in terms of gender and nationality of students and faculty.

Bocconi's program aims to provide a solid multidisciplinary foundation and targeted specialist skills, between theoretical training and application in the field (also enriched with case studies, laboratories with financial software and trading simulations), and which leverages an international environment, among students and faculty, and offers many career opportunities as managers, analysts and economists in financial institutions, in the finance division of companies or in financial authorities and regulators.

"The Financial Times ranking is certainly the most prestigious and competitive ranking in the world," says the Dean for International Affairs, Stefano Caselli, who follows the rankings for the University, "and the consolidation of the position in the top group is an indicator of the excellence of the Master of Science in Finance, thanks to a unique mix in terms of ability to attract the best talent at the international level, to ensure an effective learning experience thanks to the quality of the Faculty and to allow a successful placement in the financial market."
