The President of the European Commission Will Kick Off Bocconi's Academic Year

ON SATURDAY 28 NOVEMBER THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2020/2021 WILL BE HELD, WITH URSULA VON DER LEYEN AS GUEST SPEAKER. THE ENTIRE EVENT WILL BE STREAMED ON THE UNIVERSITY'S WEBSITE AND SOCIAL NETWORKS

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will be the keynote speaker of the event inaugurating the 2020-2021 academic year of Bocconi University, scheduled for Saturday 28 November 2020 at 11am. "Society, Europe and Future" is the title of the ceremony that will also feature speeches by the President of Bocconi, Mario Monti, and its Rector, Gianmario Verona

In the year of a health crisis that quickly became an economic crisis, Bocconi - now more than ever - chooses to look to the future by focusing on human capital, digital transformation and sustainability, placing society and the European context at the center of its actions.

This year the ceremony will be exclusively virtual and it will be possible to follow it on the website (here is the link to follow it in streaming) and on the University's social media channels. Registration is not required to participate.
