Seven Movie Hits to Improve Your English. And Spanish

THE BOCCONI FILM FESTIVAL IS BACK. IN ADDITION TO MORE RECENT FILMS, IT WILL ALSO INCLUDE TWO GREAT CINEMA CLASSICS, PSYCHO AND MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, AND A FILM IN SPANISH. KICK OFF THIS EVENING AT 8.15PM IN THE AULA MAGNA GOBBI

The Bocconi Film Festival re-starts today with an Oscar winner, Joe Wright's Darkest Hour, to be shown at 8.15 in the Aula Magna Gobbi. The initiative organized by the Language Center to allow the Bocconi community to deepen their knowledge of the English language by simply enjoying a good film after a day of study or work, will be held (except for this first date) on Mondays (click here for the full program).

In addition to more recent films such as Spielberg's The Post, Gerwig's Lady Bird and Unkrich and Molina's Coco, the programme also includes two great classics: Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and Lumet's Murder on the Orient Express (1974). Another novelty will be the screening of a Spanish movie, in its original language: Julieta, by Almodòvar.

Each film is introduced by a language teacher and accompanied by a summary language card, which includes a monolingual glossary, specially prepared for each film.
