Three Speakers to Focus on Humanitarian Aid at EMMIO

THE CAIRO DEPUTY REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF THE WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME AND TWO ALUMNI WHO ARE PROFESSIONALS IN THE SECTOR WILL SPEAK IN THE CLASSROOM AT THE EXECUTIVE MASTER IN MANAGEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

Humanitarian aid, the importance of change management in complex situations such as large-scale operations, the role of the World Food Programme (WFP) in the global fight against hunger and changes to support them all. On Thursday 18 May, these topics will be discussed in with the Executive Master in Management of International Organizations by three guest speakers who are professionals working on the field. Two of the speakers are Bocconi alumni – Giovanni Pio, Head of Global Change Management at the UN World Food Programme, and Stephane Timpano, Managing Partner of Lagos and West Africa at Bain&Co – and the third is Carlo Scaramella, Deputy Regional Director for the WFP regional office in Cairo.

“This represents a unique opportunity for our participants to explore the relevance of effective change management to achieving excellence in large-scale operations management and to explore concrete examples from the experience of World Food Programme (WFP) – the leading humanitarian organization fighting hunger worldwide,” explains EMMIO Director Greta Nasi.
