Bloomberg Businessweek: SDA Bocconi in the Top 10 of the Best International Schools

THANKS TO THE POSITIVE OPINION OF GRADUATES AND RECRUITERS, THE MBA OF THE SCHOOL RISES FOUR POSITIONS AND REACHES 8TH PLACE IN THE RANKING OF THE BEST PROGRAMS TAUGHT OUTSIDE THE US

It is a program that is recognized as best preparing its graduates to succeed in the job market. The MBA program of SDA Bocconi thus gains 4 positions and places 8th in the  rarefied group of the Best International Business Schools 2016 ranking of Bloomberg Businessweek, which ranks the best programs taught outside of the US. SDA Bocconi also asserts itself as the only Italian business school present in all the most important international rankings, including Financial Times, Forbes and The Economist.

The ranking focuses on how well the schools channel their graduates into good jobs. The criteria used includes feedback from over 1,000 recruiters worldwide on the schools they consider the best (35% of the total score), a survey of the alumni from the classes of 2008, 2009 and 2010 on how their MBA affected their careers and salary change (30%), a survey of the latest class with their opinion on faculty, career services, campus, etc. (15%), data on placement within 3 months of graduation (10%) and data on how much MBAs make in their first jobs after graduation (10%). Only 31 schools are included in the ranking of the best international programs.

“This acknowledgement from recruiters and alumni is also reflected in the figures of the latest Career Report.  This report highlights how our MBA produces graduates with an international outlook who can benefit from the excellent relations the School enjoys with companies and the job market,” comments Stefano Gatti, full-time MBA Director. “86% of graduates seeking employment found a job three months after graduation and 55% transferred to a different country. The average salary increase post MBA is nearly 150% and nearly two thirds of graduates found new job opportunities through the school and its career service.”
