Bocconi at the Polls, Students Choose Their Representatives

, by Davide Ripamonti
Every two years student representatives for the various University bodies will be chosen, this year on 28 and 29 April. There are three groups presenting candidates

A bit of restlessness has been in the air over the past few days all across the Bocconi campus. Election posters and stands are reminders that student elections will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday 28 and 29 April. As set out in the University's Statute and Regulations, this occurs every two years. The elections will decide the names of the student representatives for the various University bodies: the Faculty Council, the Department Councils, the School Council, the University Sport Committee and the ISU Bocconi Board. There are three groups presenting candidates: Act, B.lab and Lista aperta Obiettivo Studenti.

Voting, which is open to all students enrolled in the 2014-2015 academic year, will take place in the foyer of the Via Gobbi Aula Magna on 28 April at 9am-8pm and on 29 April at 9am-3pm. The name of the candidate who will represent students on the University Board will also be determined, after appointment by the "Friends of Bocconi" Association.
The three candidates are: Emanuele Zappalà, for Act; Giulia Bifano, representing B.lab; and Diego Padova for Lista aperta Obiettivo Studenti.
