Pierpaolo Battigalli and Massimo Marinacci, two Bocconi professors, are among the invited speakers at the 10th Econometric Society World Congress (Shanghai, August 17-21).
Founded in 1930 by Irving Fischer e Ragnar Frisch, the Econometric Society aims to promote the use of quantitative tools in economics, via a rigorous methodological approach, following the model of natural sciences. With 550 fellows from all over the world, the society enjoys an undisputed prestige. The world congress is held every five year.
