World University Rankings: Bocconi Debuts in the European Top 10

IN THE NEW TABLE FOR THE BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS SUBJECT AREA, PUBLISHED BY TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION, BOCCONI RANKS 8TH IN EUROPE AND 25TH IN THE WORLD

A positive debut for Bocconi in the World University Rankings by Subject 2016, published by Times Higher Education, who in the subject area Business and Economics, a new league table introduced this year, places 8th in Europe and 25th in the world.

The ranking includes 8 league tables divided by subject area (Arts and Humanities; Business and Economics; Clinical, Pre-Clinical and Health; Computer Science; Engineering and Technology; Life Sciences; Physical Sciences; Social Sciences) with the top 100 universities in each table. The tables are based on 13 performance indicators and judge universities across their core activities – teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.

"The result achieved by Bocconi is of great importance not only because it is the debut in one of the most prestigious league tables but especially because, through a very complex and demanding evaluation, it ranks our University straight away in the group of the best schools globally," comments Stefano Caselli, Dean for International Affairs at Bocconi.
