Management, Bocconi Among FT's Top Schools

IN THE MASTERS IN MANAGEMENT RANKING, BOCCONI PLACES IN THE GROUP DEFINED BY FINANCIAL TIMES AS THE TOP SCHOOLS

The success in the placement and careers of graduates of its MSc programs positions Bocconi among the top schools of the Financial Times in the 2016 Masters in Management ranking published today.

"Although the headline ranking figures show changes in the data year to year, the pattern of clustering among the schools is equally significant. Some 250 points separate the top programme, University of St Gallen, from the school ranked number 90. The top 11 participants, from University of St Gallen to Università Bocconi, form the top group of Masters in Management providers," says the FT.

The acknowledgement from FT regards the Master of Science in International Management, taught in English, and the evaluations for the ranking are based on a series of criteria, including alumni progress in terms of salary and career and the international mobility of graduates. Among the individual criteria, the Bocconi program stands out for career success (5th in the world) and for the opinion of the career service given by alumni (6th in the world).

"The significant fact is that the International Management program has definitively consolidated its presence in the group of the world's best universities," comments Stefano Caselli, Dean for International Affairs. "This has been accomplished by leveraging the strengths appreciated and recognized by the market, ranging from the ability in placement to a robust learning path rich in diversified experiences that allows students to obtain satisfactions over time."

In June, Bocconi's Master of science in Finance placed 9th in the world in the FT's Global Masters in Finance ranking.
