An Intellectually Active Vacation with Campus Abroad

220 BOCCONI STUDENTS HAVE DECIDED GO TO AN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY IN JULY, ATTEND LECTURES, TAKE AN EXAM AND EXPERIENCE THE HOST COUNTRY. SEE STORIES FROM PARTICIPANTS ON FB, NEW PHOTOS EVERY WEEK FOR EACH CAMPUS

How would you spend your time in July if you were an college student finished with exams? With a trip, maybe abroad. This is one possible answer. But if you want to be more than just a tourist and take advantage of the month of July to study and take another exam, Bocconi offers its students a great opportunity: Campus Abroad, a program that allows students to travel to a partner university to attend a 3-week course and take a final exam.

220 students packed their bags this summer, leaving on 26 June and returning 16 July. There are 93 Bachelor of Science students, 96 Master of Science students, 22 Law students, 4 MISB students and 5 students from the partner school Imperial College London.
The destinations for the undergraduates are Washington, Vancouver and Shanghai, and Chicago, Los Angeles, Singapore and Tokyo for the others.

It is a full immersion experience that goes beyond teaching and is a life experience. In addition to living on the local campus with international classmates, Bocconi students experience the host city and nearby areas with trips organized over the weekends.
This year’s protagonists will describe their experiences, acting as photo reporters. Through their stories, they will allow us to experience and discover local traditions and customs and much more. Each campus will have a gallery to follow on the Bocconi Facebook page.
