AFTER THEIR CONFIRMATIONS, THREE NEW MEMBERS ENTER THE BAA BOARD, IN CHARGE OF SPORTS AND MARKETING

Two women and a man: Laura Bruno, Maurizio Cohen and Simona Tripoli are the three new faces among board members elected in the recent meeting of the Bocconi Alumni Association (BAA). Ms Bruno joins Claudio Ceper and John Mocchi as counselors at the Career Advice, replacing Anna Simioni, while Mr Cohen takes office as board adviser to sports and will also have responsibility for coordinating the newly-born Sports Management Topic. Mr Tripoli finally, joins Fabio Fraccarono at brand development and digital communication.

"Our priority", says BAA president Riccardo Monti, "is to continue along the path of strengthening of our three development pillars: career advice, continuous learning, and fundraising, which was added this year. All propagated across the entire international network of the Bocconi Alumni Association "

Laura Bruno, degree in Business Administration in 1990, is director of human resources at Sanofi and looks back on 26 years of experience in the industry. "Human resources are one of the elements that makes the difference in a company, and my goal is to bring innovation in a spirit of continuity of intent with the initiatives already rolled out, such as mentoring and coaching," she explains. "I strongly believe in the necessity of a deep knowledge of the job market, especially internationally, which is why I intend to strengthen the synergy between the Career Advice service and the international chapters of the association. Finally, I will special attention for the issue of diversity."

Maurice Cohen, a 1980 graduate in Business Administration and a lawyer, professor of sports law at the International University of Monaco and president of STEP Monaco, is the new director for sports and also coordinates the new BAA Topic devoted to sport management. A dual role which Cohen fills “to intensify relations with the Sport Knowledge Center, with Bocconi Sport Team and the Bocconi Sport Campus, to bring the strength of unified effort in developing the University's strategic plan for sports." As for the new BAA Topic, "we will contribute to the creation of a program of sport events management and law in the light of the experience already accumulated at Bocconi".

Simona Tripoli, CEO of Datamanent, who graduated in Business Administration in 2002 from Bocconi where she presently teaches, is the third new entry in the Board to support the development of branding and online communication. "Our challenge," she says, "is to engage alumni the day since the day they first set foot in the University, in order to nurture personal networks that grew in the classroom and go on for the rest of our lives, by making use of a range of digital channels to engage all Bocconi alumni in a network that is unique in the world".
