Financial Times Confirms the SDA Bocconi MBA Among Top 10 in Europe

IN THE NEW RANKING OF THE BEST MBAS, THE PROGRAM MOVES UP ONE SPOT TO 9TH PLACE IN EUROPE AND 25TH WORLDWIDE

After closing 2015 at 7th place in the ranking of the best European business schools according to the Financial Times, SDA Bocconi begins 2016 on another positive note with its MBA moving up one spot in the ranking of the best full-time MBA programs, published today by the British newspaper. The only Italian school in the ranking of the top 100 programs, it placed 25th worldwide and 9th in Europe.
Once again, it was the international flavor of its programs, teaching content and student experience that allowed Bocconi and SDA Bocconi to move up in the rankings. Another factor is the geographic mobility in the job market provided by a degree from Bocconi.

The FT ranking of full-time MBAs is based on around 20 parameters, including student assessments three years after graduation and data provided by individual schools. The SDA Bocconi program stands out due to its post-MBA salary increase (+116%), graduates’ international mobility (10th worldwide) and the value of international experiences – such as exchanges and internships – during the program (11th worldwide).

“The MBA’s internationalization can be found in its multiethnic class group (35 nationalities are represented in the current edition), in a faculty with a solid international academic background, and in the School’s ability to create a network of international exchanges and experiences for its students,” says Bruno Busacca, Dean of the SDA Bocconi School of Management. “This is the result of a broad strategy that has been built over time, which guarantees success not only in the rankings but, more importantly, in the careers of our graduates.”

“In the tradition of Bocconi, and the Italian educational system in general, our program is characterized by a solid foundation in general management. This is the only way to provide a complete outlook, making tomorrow’s executives flexible and able to work in various sectors,” explains Stefano Gatti, Director of the MBA. “At the same time, however, there are a variety of functional and industry tracks, allowing our students to specialize. One of our MBA’s signature tracks is the one in Luxury Business Management.”
 
The full-time MBA is part of the complete offer of MBAs at SDA Bocconi, which includes an Executive MBA, an Evening Executive MBA, a Global Executive MBA and the new Executive MBA Weekend which will start in May.
