Recruiters Position SDA Bocconi Among the Top 5 in Europe

THE SCHOOL GAINS ONE POSITION AND IS PLACED 5TH IN EUROPE IN THE RANKING OF THE BEST BUSINESS SCHOOLS BY TOPMBA. THE LATEST IN A SERIES OF POSITIVE INTERNATIONAL EVALUATIONS OF THE SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT

SDA Bocconi School of Management placed 5th in Europe, gaining one position, in the 2014 QS Global Top 200 Business Schools ranking published by TopMBA, a ranking which bases 85% of its assessment on the evaluations made by 5,670 recruiters around the world.

The recruiters, all with active experience in hiring MBA graduates, were asked which schools they preferred to recruit from. The remaining 15% of the score of the schools was determined by the academic reputation, calculated on the basis of the results of a survey among 7,185 faculty and academics all over the world.

Published by QS, the international network dedicated to education and professions which also draws up the World University Rankings, the rankings were published on their TopMBA portal and the 200 ranked schools were divided into separate regional rankings. 65 business schools are present in the European ranking.

“I thank those in charge of the MBA program and all the staff involved for this further step forward. This ranking is important because it is in large measure based on the opinion of recruiters at international level and confirms the success of our investments to increase the employability of our MBA graduates,” comments Bruno Busacca, Dean of SDA Bocconi.

The result is in line with the series of excellent acknowledgements obtained by SDA Bocconi whose MBA last week moved up two positions in the Bloomberg Businessweek ranking, placing itself 14th among the best programs taught outside the US.
