ON FRIDAY THE YAS VICE PRESIDENT WILL TAKE PART IN THE EAST FORUM 2014 ON PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Andrea Manera, Bocconi student enrolled in the second year of the MSc in Economic and Social Sciences and Vice President of the Young Ambassadors Society (YAS), will take part at the East Forum 2014, promoted by Unicredit in Bruxelles on Friday 24th.
Promoting Talent and Entrepreneurship in Europe: a Way for Growth will be a conference dealing with occupation and growth in Europe, thanks to several panels throughout the day. Among the topics that will be touched upon will be: how jobs will change in the future, the importance of investments and innovation, which are the most suitable policies to attract and train the young talents of tomorrow.

Andrea ManeraIn particular, Andrea, who is 23 years old, will promote YAS’s opinions in the panel Developing, attracting and circulating talents: what public policies can do.  “I will talk about a very important topic to me: how it would be better, both for young people and companies, to promote a training system able to develop the skills and relevant abilities of the new resource with the purpose of inserting this already-formed resource inside the company’s structure”. We are talking about a German model, a model that Andrea knows well: he wrote about it in his Bachelor Degree’s thesis. Thanks to YAS, this week he will bring this topic to the attention of the Europe that matters in Bruxelles.

The Young Ambassadors Society is a student association, also active at Bocconi, born in 2011 and able to gather students from all around Italy, with the purpose to promote young people’s ideas on international issues. Its main activity is the recruitment and training of Youth20 and Youth8 delegations – which  take part to G20 and G8 parallel meetings.
