May, Time for Sports

SAILING, SQUASH, HORSEBACK RIDING, 5-A-SIDE FOOTBALL, NOT TO MENTION BOCCONI SPORT DAYS, ALL COMING UP NEXT MONTH AT BOCCONI. REGISTRATION IS ALREADY OPEN, SO GET A TEAM TOGETHER OR SIGN UP FOR AN INDIVIDUAL SPORT OR YOUR FAVORITE GAME

May is, for reasons of climate and tradition, a month particularly full of sports initiatives in universities. This year the Bocconi Sport Team  has prepared a full schedule of events, which are already open enrollment. It starts May 9-11 with a long weekend in Liguria, Porto Venere , for Bocconi Sailing Days, a boating event aimed at both beginners and experts. It continues on the 17th with Bocconi Squash Tournament, organized by the Bocconi Alumni Association at the GetFIT Club in Milan on Via Vico, open to both men and women, for a total of 16 players. On May 20 and 21, however,  Bocconi Sport Days will be held - the main event organized since 2005, with tournaments in 5-a-side soccer, basketball and volleyball as well as related activities such as table tennis, foosball, chess, board games and demonstrations of other sports.

Then on May 24 and 25, it's off to the Aosta Valley and the Bocconi Riding Days, two days dedicated to horseback riding for beginners and experts at the equestrian center A.R.T.E. Attacchi in Issogne. Lessons for those who are beginners and the possibility of wonderfully scenic itineraries for those who already have good riding skills. The last event, in chronological order, to be held in May is the first edition of Bocconi Women's Soccer Cup, aimed at all students of the University and SDA Bocconi. It will be held from May 27-29 in the 5-a-side soccer field behind the Bocconi Residence Hall in via Bocconi 12.
