EMBAS Relay Team Running to Support a Hospital in Rwanda

VINCENZO BAGLIERI WILL LEAD A DELEGATION FROM THE EVENING EXECUTIVE MBA AT THE MILANO MARATHON ON 6 APRIL. THEY WILL BE RUNNING TO RAISE FUNDS FOR MO.C.I.

Running is good for the body, the spirit, and sometimes it’s good for others too. This is true for many of the charity relay teams that have participated in the Milano City Marathon over the years and who will be ready for the edition scheduled for 6 April. They include several teams made up of alumni and students in SDA Bocconi Master programs, who, under the banner of several charity associations, are raising funds to support specific projects. This year, led by Vincenzo Baglieri, faculty member at the Department of Management and Technology at Bocconi and Director of the SDA Executive MBA, a relay team of the current EMBAS will also participate: “Of the various groups of SDA alumni who participate in competitions, there is one in particular, led by Fabio Davi, EMBAS12. The team is running to support a non-profit called MO.C.I. which has completed various projects,” explains Baglieri, “and it will be under the banner of this association that Michele Facco, Francesco Francioso, Guido Autelitano and myselfwill run on 6 April.” The specific project is to establish a prenatal wing in a hospital in Rwanda, built thanks to MO.C.I. “The idea to create a relay team that is specifically for the program,” says Baglieri, “is from the fact that I wanted to highlight these executives and their abilities, who, in addition to being excellent professionals, are donating their time, resources and energy to those less fortunate.”
